I wrote N’Courage & N’Spire: More Than A Hobby: The Indie Creative Manager, Speaker, & Music Consultant: Why I Chose To Carve Out My Own Unique Professional Path In The Music Industry for a few different reasons. The first reason is that I feel it is a great expansion of my personal brand and my mission to make a difference not only in the lives of indie creatives but people overall. The second reason is that living life with a disability is obviously hard and comes with a unique set of daily challenges that can make it difficult for those without a support system to even chase their dreams. I always say that the music industry found me because I didn’t grow up with a burning passion to be in the music industry professionally but I began to see how important music was to my daily life. I also figured out that at the core of the music industry it is truly about people and relationships, which I believe I’m extremely good at establishing everyday.

I also know that “making it” in the music industry whether you are a creative or an executive is very difficult and many don’t achieve success because what works for one may not work for the next. I knew that I couldn’t move to Atlanta, Los Angeles, or Nashville to pursue a corporate industry job so I had to carve out my own path.
